Historical Recipes

Create your own kitchen adventure! Pick any historical-themed cookbook you want to read and experiment with a recipe or two. We'll make a recipe together and discuss the different cookbooks we read.

If you would like you can bring your own recipe and food for everyone to taste, however it is not required. Historical-themed cookbooks can be anything from your grandma's old recipe file or an old church cookbook to ones recreating Gullah Geechee cooking or ancient Roman recipes. 

Ask any of your local library staff for a cookbook recommendation.
