This program funded by The PowerHouse of Southeastern Ohio provides area teens the opportunity to experience art hands-on. These workshops, led by local artists, aim to introduce a variety of art mediums and explore career options in the field. In addition to the workshops at the library, there will be opportunities for teens to visit local art studios and other points of interest. Dates to be determined. Transportation will be provided to offsite locations departing from and returning to the John McIntire Library, please fill out and return this PERMISSION SLIP to allow your teen to attend an offsite event.
At the end of the program series participants will have developed a portfolio and display their creations at a showcase event in the Carnegie Wing Gallery.
Registration is required for each workshop. There is a Tuesday group and a Wednesday group available, select only one. Please note that if you register for the Wednesday group, you will be registered for all Wednesday workshops in this series.
