As part of the Muskingum 250 celebration, honoring 250 years of American heritage, join us for a captivating lecture by Dr. Brandon Downing. A historian specializing in early American history and Native-white relations along the frontier, Dr. Downing will discuss themes from his current manuscript, ‘Barbarous Tribes of Savages’: Violence and Conflict on the Periphery of Empire in the Colonial Mid-Atlantic, 1750-1776. This program reflects on the rich history of the Muskingum region during America's Revolutionary Era.
