Andrew Welsh-Huggins, from Columbus, is the Shamus, Derringer, and ITW-award-nominated author of the Andy Hayes Private Eye series featuring a former Ohio State and Cleveland Browns quarterback turned investigator, including the latest book, "Sick To Death." Andrew is also the editor of the Columbus Noir anthology and author of the standalone crime novel, "The End of The Road", which Kirkus called, “A crackerjack crime yarn chockablock with miscreants and a supersonic pace.” Andrew’s short stories have appeared in multiple magazines and anthologies, including The Best Mystery Stories of the Year 2021 and 2024. When he's not writing, Andrew enjoys running, reading, cooking, spending time with family, and managing his small menagerie of one cat and two parakeets. Fun fact: He recently started taking piano lessons again, and in May performed in his first recital in 50 years.

"Sick To Death" - Starting with a daring art heist and a walloping surprise for disgraced quarterback–turned–private eye Andy Hayes, this riveting mystery novel—the eighth in the series—takes readers on a roller coaster ride through COVID and the anti-vaxxer movement, the streets of Columbus, Ohio, and an FBI investigation that points too close to home.
